Lance’s entertaining one-man shows are performances of sketches, stories and poems as an entertaining alternative to a speaker.

He offers a wide range of humorous entertainments and has been a regular visitor to Women's Institutes, Rotary Clubs, Ladies' Lunch Clubs, Arts Societies and U3As.

His most popular show is "Music Hall Memories", which celebrates performers like Stanley Holloway and Al Read.

As a life-long cricket fanatic he has devised several entertainments which celebrate the vast amount of good writing that the game has spawned. These feature a fantastic array of material from people such as John Cleese, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Richard Stilgoe, Lesley Garrett, Sir Paul Getty and Tim Brooke Taylor.

Lance has also produced several audio recordings of his shows.
