Lance Pierson is an entertainer who brings words to life. He has created many humorous and moving entertainments, which could add a touch of class to your event.
He has a huge variety of entertainments and performances in his repertoire: he performs Bible passages, the work of poets from William Shakespeare to John Betjeman, sketches from Music Hall and even the literature of Cricket.

This year is the 400th anniversary of the birth of the great poet John Milton. To celebrate this event Lance is offering two one-man performances of Milton’s poems.
"Pre-eminence Lost?" explores whether Milton should once more be considered the second greatest English poet (after Shakespeare). The show features extracts from Paradise Lost, Samson Agonistes, L’Allegro and Il Penseroso, Comus, Lycidas and the Sonnets.
The second show "The Paradise of Paradise Lost" features Lance reciting and enacting Book 9 of Paradise Lost – the fall of Adam and Eve – one of the highest peaks of English literature.
